Privacy
What this site collects about you.
Very little, by design. This page covers the website. Work for clients is covered by the engagement agreement each client signs.
Who we are
Unscathed is operated by Thomas Sprayberry, a sole proprietor based in Georgia, USA. You can reach us at hello@unscathed.id.
If you only read the site
- We set no cookies of our own.
- We run no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no social media embeds.
- Fonts, styles, and scripts are served from this site, apart from the Turnstile check on the contact page, described below.
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and to stop abuse, as any web host does. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people from automated traffic.
- We do not track you across other sites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to change.
If you contact us, by form or email
What you type is delivered to us as one email. It is not stored on the website: the site does not write it to a database. It stays in our mailbox, at our email provider, until it is deleted as described below. Cloudflare, which delivers the email, keeps routine delivery records.
- The form asks for what to call you, an email address, optionally another way to reach you, who the inquiry is for, what you need, whether something is happening right now, and an optional message.
- A message that looks like it contains a password, a code, a card number, or a Social Security number is rejected before it is sent.
- The contact page loads Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is sending the form. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser and connection, including your IP address, to make that decision. It is the only third-party script on this site, and it loads only on the contact page.
- Your IP address is also used, for about a minute, to limit how often the form can be sent.
- If you are writing about someone else, such as a client or a family member, share only what is needed for us to reply.
What we do with an inquiry
We use it to reply to you and to decide together whether we can help. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list. We share it only with the providers that deliver and hold our email, or where the law requires it.
If you do not become a client, we delete your inquiry within 90 days. You can ask us to delete it sooner by emailing the address above.
If you become a client
Client records are held in a separate, access-controlled case system, encrypted, and not kept on this website. What we hold, for how long, and who may see it are set out in your engagement agreement.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@unscathed.id. We may need to confirm that a request really comes from you before acting on it. You do not have to use the form: email works just as well.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. A parent may tell us about a child in an inquiry; we handle it the same way as the rest of the inquiry.
