About
A small practice for the work between forensics and monitoring.
When a breach is announced, forensics explains what happened to the organization, counsel manages the response, and a monitoring service sends alerts. When someone is being found, followed, or impersonated, an app sends opt-out requests. What is usually missing is someone who sits down with each person and puts their accounts, records, and footprint back in order. Unscathed was started to do that work.
Who we work for
- Individuals and families who want to be harder to find, or who have been taken over, impersonated, or exposed
- Public figures, executives, and the people around them, working alongside their management, family office, or security team
- Law firms and organizations whose clients or people were in a breach
We work in the United States, in English.
The rules we keep
These hold for every engagement, whoever the client is.
- We never hold your password or type a code for you
- A person sends every message that goes to you, and makes every decision that affects you
- We do not name clients, publish testimonials, or tell case stories
- We do not promise outcomes that belong to someone else: a platform, a provider, a search engine, or a government office
- We keep a dated, encrypted record of every request and result, and you can see where each one stands
- We do not help anyone hide from a court, a creditor, or law enforcement
- We do not pay or accept referral fees
People first, software where it fits
Repetitive work, such as sending removal requests to hundreds of data brokers, is done by software we choose and check. Everything else is done by people: maps and photos, search results, old accounts, the records behind the brokers, account recovery, and the order in which it all happens. Where we use an AI model, it drafts or reads, and a person reviews before anything is sent or recorded. The privacy page describes how.
What we are not
We are not a law firm, a forensics firm, a private investigator, an insurer, or an emergency service, and we are not a credit repair service. Where a matter is legal, we work with the attorney you choose. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
